A hint-first way to use AI

A hint-first rule provides an honest alternative. With teacher permission, students can ask AI to identify the concept, explain one step, create a similar practice problem or ask a guiding question without solving the assigned problem. They then complete the original work, compare it with class materials and disclose meaningful assistance when required.
